As required by recent provincial health directives, in-person attendance at our Sunday services is now limited to 100 people. This number represents fifty percent of our sanctuary's full capacity. Additionally, regulations required all churches to uphold the mandatory wearing of facemasks during indoor services.
Masks are required in all public indoor settings, including worship services, for all people born in 2016 or earlier (5+).
By adhering to provincial health orders, including facemasks and reduced in-person capacity, Grandview is actively striving to maintain a safe environment for worship gatherings. Note that the current health orders do not require churches at half capacity to request vaccine passports from participants.
Vaccine requirements for those working with children: All staff and volunteers who teach or work alongside children must be vaccinated. Children’s ministry leaders will confirm that volunteers have obtained a provincial vaccine card.
Groups gathering in the church building are required to designate a person to oversee compliance with Grandview Covid - 19 safety protocols. When gathering, no shared food or drink may be offered for consumption. Capacity limits have been set for each meeting space at Grandview Church. Please contact the church office to book church facilities for group use, and to inquire about any aspect of Grandview's Covid health and safety policy.
Thank you to everyone for your efforts to keep our church community healthy. Remember: if you are not able to attend in person, our 10:30 Sunday service will continue to be livestreamed
